Rules & Validation
Per-Hand/Round Logic
- Points per Round: Sum the number cards still in front of the player when the round ends.
- Validation Rules:
- Bust: A second copy of a number already in the line (except Lucky 13’s second 13) busts. Score 0.
- Stay: Bank the line. Cards stay in play until the round ends — steal / swap / discard / modifiers can still hit a stayed player.
- Round End: Everyone has stayed or busted, or one player Flips 7 different number cards.
- Normalization: Total = (sum of number cards → ÷2 if present, round down → subtract −2/−4/−6/−8/−10, floor at 0) + 15 if Flip 7.
Special Numbers
- Zero: Counts toward Flip 7. Round score becomes 0 unless that player also Flips 7.
- Unlucky 7: Discard every other number and modifier; keep the 7. Cannot bust on receiving it. After that it is just a 7.
- Lucky 13: May hold a second 13 without busting. Both 13s score and both count toward Flip 7. A third 13 busts.
Modifiers
- Play on any player who has not busted (including stayed). Last active player keeps it.
- Not number cards. Do not count toward Flip 7. Cannot bust on them.
- ÷2: Halve the number-card sum (round down), then subtract the −N cards.
- −2 to −10: Subtract after ÷2. Standard: score cannot go below 0.
Action cards (table play — not scored)
- Resolve immediately. Steal / Swap / Discard / Just One More / Flip Four. Discarded after use.
- The scorecard records the line after those resolve.
Brutal mode
- Round score may go below 0.
- Modifiers may be given to busted players.
- Flip 7: take +15 or subtract 15 from another player.
Win Conditions
- Condition: First player to 200 at the end of a complete round.
- Tie-Breaker: Highest total if several cross 200 in the same round.
