How to score
- Marks on 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and Bull.
- Three marks close a number. Extra hits on an open number you have closed, and they have not, score points.
- Close every number and lead on points to win (Standard).
- Cut-Throat: extra hits add points to opponents. Lowest score wins.
Questions
Does Bull count as 25 or 50? Outer bull is usually 1 mark (25). Double bull is 2 marks (50). Three marks close Bull.
Can I score on a number I have not closed? No. You only score extras after you have three marks, and only while the opponent still has that number open.

Rules & Validation
Core Mechanics
- Target Numbers: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and the Bullseye.
- Marks: Each target requires 3 marks to "close".
- Single segment = 1 mark
- Double segment = 2 marks
- Triple segment = 3 marks
- Single Bull = 1 mark
- Double Bull = 2 marks
- Scoring (Standard):
- Once a player has 3 marks on a number, it is "open" for them to score points.
- If they hit an open number and an opponent hasn't closed it yet, they earn points equal to the number (or 25/50 for Bull).
- Once all players have closed a number, no one can score on it anymore.
Validation Rules
- Hand Validation: A turn consists of 3 darts.
- Max Marks: Marks cannot exceed 3 per number (extra hits become points or are ignored if closed by everyone).
Scoring Formulas
- Standard Cricket: Points added to the active player's total.
- Cut-Throat Cricket: Points added to the totals of all opponents who haven't closed the number yet. Lowest score wins.
Win Conditions
- Condition: A player wins when they have closed all target numbers (15-20 + Bull) AND have a score equal to or better than all opponents.
- Standard: Highest score wins.
- Cut-Throat: Lowest score wins.
- Tie-Breaker: The game continues until one player meets both conditions (all closed + score advantage).

Do you have to close the bull to win at Cricket?
Yes. You need to close 15 through 20 and the bull, and have at least as many points as everyone else.
Can you score on a number your opponent closed?
No. Once everyone has closed a number, it's dead and scores nothing.
How many marks is the bull?
The outer bull is 1 mark and the inner bull is 2.
What is cutthroat Cricket?
A variant where points go to opponents who haven't closed the number, and the lowest score wins.
