How to score
- Pig Out (opposite sides) = 0 for the turn. Pass the pigs.
- Oinker (touching) wipes your whole score. First to 100 wins.
How to play
- Throw two pigs. Add the pose, then roll again or bank.
- Sider 1, razorback or trotter 5, snouter 10, leaning jowler 15. Matching pair doubles.
Questions
Someone stepped away? Open the turn and tap Skip turn (owed). Play passes on and they get an owed badge; tap it to take the extra turn later. If someone reaches the target, owed turns are played (or counted as 0) before the result.
What is Piggyback? One pig on top of the other. That turn scores 0 (and some tables treat it like an Oinker). Agree before you start.
Mixed combo? Two different scoring poses add together (for example snouter + trotter = 15).

Rules & Validation
Turn Logic (Push Your Luck)
- On a turn, a player rolls two pig dice.
- A player can keep rolling to accumulate a "Turn Score."
- At any point, the player can choose to "Pass" and add their Turn Score to their total Game Score.
- If a "Pig Out" or "Oinker" is rolled, the turn ends immediately with potential penalties.
Scoring Table (Single Pig)
If one pig scores and the other is a "Sider" (on its side):
- Sider: 1 point (Both pigs on the same side, either dots up or dots down)
- Razorback: 5 points
- Trotter: 5 points
- Snouter: 10 points
- Leaning Jowler: 15 points
Scoring Table (Double Combinations)
If both pigs land in the same position:
- Double Razorback: 20 points
- Double Trotter: 20 points
- Double Snouter: 40 points
- Double Leaning Jowler: 60 points
- Mixed Combo: Sum of individual values (e.g., Snouter + Razorback = 15 pts)
Penalties (The "Risks")
- Pig Out: Pigs land on opposite sides (one dot up, one dot down).
- Penalty: Turn Score becomes 0. Turn ends.
- Oinker (Making a Pig of Yourself): Pigs are touching in any position.
- Penalty: Total Game Score becomes 0. Turn ends.
- Piggyback: One pig lands on top of the other.
- Penalty: Player is out of the game (or turn ends with 0 points, depending on house rules).
Win Conditions
- Condition: The first player to reach 100 total points wins.
- Tie-Breaker: First to 100 (Immediate win).

Common Pass the Pigs rules questions

What is a Pig Out?
One pig lands on its dot side and the other on its blank side. You lose all points for that turn.
What is Makin' Bacon?
If the two pigs touch each other, you lose your entire score, not just the turn.
How are doubles scored in Pass the Pigs?
Two pigs in the same position score more: double Razorback or Trotter is 20, double Snouter 40, and double Leaning Jowler 60.
What if a pig rolls off the table?
Most groups just re-roll it.
